FAQ

Find the answers to all your questions here

  • We offer coffees by variety, quality grade, post-harvest process, and quantity. Make your selection by referring to the texts on our website or through our blog, or by contacting us!

  • A simple process! Visit our catalog page , choose from the varieties in stock, and contact us to confirm availability and pricing. We'll be happy to guide you through this step!

    • For consistency, we first identify the location of the plot of land, its orientation to the sun, rain, wind, and the type of soil.

    • We select the variety best suited to the space, work the soil, establish a nursery for the chosen variety, and proceed with the germination and production of the plants. The same varieties will be grown on the same plots.

    • The plants are cared for for several years and a register is kept listing the care and products applied to this microlot.

    • Once harvested at maturity, the grains are either washed, fermented, dried, and bagged. A lot number is then assigned to the bags of harvested grains, and this number (printed on the bags and on the import documents) will follow this inventory throughout its stay at the processing center, its importation into Canada, and its storage here.

    • With these batch numbers, we ensure consistency because we can tell the story of that little bean that made its way to your cup. And because our care is tailored to the variety in the ground, we ensure the quality of the bean.

  • The plantation is called Finca Renacer. It is located at the end of the San Antonio de Upa road, in the mountains of the Matagalpa region of Nicaragua.

  • You can't get any fairer! You deal directly with the plantation owner and their employees. There are no other middlemen and no additional organizations to reduce the farmers' income. It's a direct transaction, and all invoiced amounts are transferred directly to the plantation to pay for wages and produce. In fact, you can also come visit and see for yourself! Contact us for arrangements.
